With her newest $1,424,420 prize, Vanessa Selbst became the highest-earning female poker player of all time whose total prizes amounted to to $7 million at the Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure tournament.

Selbst was beating Russian player Vladimir Troyanovskiy heads-up. Then she said it was the toughest final table game she had ever played.

Selbst was already considered as one of the best live tournament player. With this victory, she overtakes the American Kathy Liebert. While poker legend Liebert collected her $5.8 million over two decades, Selbst managed to reach the $7 million in seven years.
